About Me

I’m a 2017 graduate of the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities currently working as an analyst in Chicago. I’ve worked in regional and national newsrooms, like the Minneapolis Star Tribune and APM Reports. I also was an editor/data guy at the U of M’s student paper, the Minnesota Daily, as well as a reporter intern at the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead.

I love digging into spreadsheets, visualizing data, and telling stories. I’ve reported on the effects of floods, the racial makeup of NCAA basketball, protests, and drug scandals in the U of M’s wrestling programs.
